When Opposite is actually the Same

This is just a quick note explaining the chart attached. Here is a list of physically opposites that are spiritually the same. Their outside couldn't have been more opposite. Jesus was the only one who lived a flawless life in the flesh but the rest of these godly men on this list had their flaws. My hope is that after reading this, you will never look at people the same again.

Do you see what God sees? The only way we can see the heart of a person is to stop viewing or judging them based on the exterior physical attributes instead of their character. Let their overall character speak for itself and not a single action. What these men listed below have in common is a godly heart. A spirit and desire to stand for what is right regardless of their individual short-comings. They all saw wrong as wrong even when some were involved in despicable acts. David for example is a familiar story and he acknowledged his misdeeds and prayed a heart felt prayer for forgiveness. A prayer that became a song that many still sing today - "Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me." - Psalm 51:10.

AGE
Noah was a very very old preacher - Genesis 5:32
Timothy was a young preacher - 1 Timothy 4:12

LOOKS
Joseph was an attractive looking young man - Genesis 39:6-7
Jesus was considered not attractive looking physically - Isaiah 53:1-3

ELOQUENCE
Aaron was eloquent and well spoken - Exodus 4:14
Moses was a shameful stutterer - Exodus 4:10

EDUCATION
Apostle Paul was a well educated scholar - Philippians 3:3-7
Apostles Peter and John were uneducated - Acts 4:13

SOCIAL STANDING
Solomon remains the richest human to ever live - 2 Chronicles 9:13-28
John the baptist was broke and homeless - Mark 1:4-6

HEIGHT AND WEIGHT
Samson was a big tall guy with supernatural strength - Judges 16:28-31
David was a regular small built guy with supernatural strength - 1 Samuel 17:42

God ONLY looks at the heart and ONLY sees the heart - 1 Samuel 16:7
